DANYANG, Nov. 12 (Korea Bizwire) — Kukyung Market, a traditional market in Danyang County, North Chungcheong Province, held a special event to highlight the making of lengthy rice cakes.
Market vendors and residents surprised visitors by producing rice cake as long as 111 meters. They cut the rice cake into little pieces and shared it with visitors.
“It is a meaningful event where we wanted to show our appreciation to those who have visited our market,” said Ryu Han-woo, Governor of Danyang County.
