SEOUL, Dec. 6 (Korea Bizwire) — The Seoul Metropolitan Government will be working together with 15 cities both domestic and overseas including New York City, Vienna, and Milan to create the Decent Work City Network (DWCN), an international organization.
The Korean cities of Seoul, Gwangju and Ulsan will be included in the network.
The background of the organization’s creation stems from the International Forum on Transforming Cities for Decent Work 2018 that was held Seoul in September.
During the forum, Seoul Mayor Park Won-soon met with Guy Ryder, the Director-General of the International Labour Organization (ILO) and made the proposal.
The DWCN aims to create a role model for a good work environment by cooperating with a number of specialized cities.
Participating cities will be confirmed before the network’s inaugural assembly to be held in December next year.

All the UK MNO’s will be using 3.5GHz to deliver 5G certainly for this year, Korea is one of the countries from which we can except for having such technology.
The International Forum on Transforming Cities for Decent Work is a meaningful venue where cities around the world, labor-related international organizations and labor experts come together to discuss the shared values of ‘respect for labor’ and to develop policies to improve the lives of workers.
