SEOUL, Dec. 22 (Korea Bizwire) – Kakao released on December 22 a list of the most searched keywords from January through November on its Daum portal in the categories of news, personalities and media.

In news, “19th election”, “Park Geun-hye impeachment”, “Kim Joo-hyuk death”, “Pohang earthquake” and “cryptocurrency” were the most searched in order from most to least.

Politicians took the top three spots on the personalities search lists, with current President Moon Jae-in taking the lead, followed by former president Park and National Assemblyman Ahn Cheol-soo at third. Next up was one half of the newly married “Song Song couple”, ‘Descendants of the Sun’ leading lady Song Hye-kyo.
