20th Korea Import Goods Fair Welcomes Companies from 50 Nations

SEOUL, June 29 (Korea Bizwire) — The 20th Korea Import Goods Fair commenced at COEX in Gangnam-gu, Seoul. Taking place at COEX Hall C for a duration of three days, starting on June 29.

This event, has been held annually at COEX for the past 20 years since its inaugural edition in 2003, stands out as Korea’s exclusive business-to-business (B2B) fair focusing on imports. s

This year’s fair boasts the participation of 150 companies hailing from 50 different countries, such as Canada, Uzbekistan, Mongolia, Libya, Slovenia, and Tunisia.

Notably, in celebration of the fair’s 20th anniversary, there will be a special exhibition showcasing semiconductor-related materials, parts, and equipment, which represent Korea’s primary export products.

Additionally, attendees can engage in one-on-one import consultations and attend seminars featuring discussions between overseas exhibitors and domestic buyers.

The Korea Importers Association (KOIMA) has organized this event, with support from the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA), and various foreign embassies in Korea.

Over the years, this fair has firmly established itself as a platform for promising foreign companies seeking entry into the Korean market to connect with domestic importers and distribution buyers.
