76 pct of Adults Drink More than A Cup of Coffee Each Day: Survey

SEOUL, Nov. 7 (Korea Bizwire)More than 7 in 10 South Korean adults drink more than one cup of coffee per day, a civic group said Sunday.

The YWCA Seoul conducted a survey of 500 adults between 20 and 59 years of age, 75.8 percent of whom said they drank more than one cup of coffee per day and spent an average of 103,978 won (US$74.14) on coffee each month.

Among coffee expenditures, 40.5 percent was spent at coffee shops, followed by coffee capsules and drip coffee bags (36.4 percent), and food delivery apps (25.5 percent).

¼­¿ïÄ«Æä¼î °³¸·

Roughly 75 percent of respondents said they used a capsule machine at home, with the majority saying that they drank coffee more often after purchasing a coffee machine for home use.

Another 44 percent of the respondents said outdoor spending on coffee had decreased after purchasing a coffee machine.
