SEOUL, Aug. 14 (Korea Bizwire) – BBQ, a Korean fried chicken franchise, released a TV commercial for its new menu of Jamaican-style chicken drumstick featuring a character actor Ryu Seung-ryong.
Ryu, dubbed as “Ten Million Selling Actor” as his films gain more than ten million audiences consecutively, showed comic performance in the TV commercial instead of his usual charismatic character. To highlight the jerk sauce of Jamaica, he put on makeup of dark skin and reggae hair style and did a funny dance.
The image of Jamaican chicken legs produced by a special camera crew to capture the elements of sizzle makes our mouth water. The shooting for the TV commercial took three days without sleep.
