SEOUL, April 3 (Korea Bizwire) — A zebra that escaped from Seoul Children’s Grand Park’s zoo in eastern Seoul last month has become a star at the zoo.
Last week, the zoo was filled with visitors trying to find Sero, a three-year-old zebra who made international headlines following a recent zoo escape.
Sero didn’t seem to mind the fervent interest. The zebra was seen walking casually around the cage, gazing at onlookers, and rolling on the ground from time to time.
A new, two-meter-tall green iron fence was set up behind the wooden fence that the zebra broke when it escaped.
“The current cage looks too small for Sero to live in. I wish the zoo would improve, especially with the recent incidents and all,” said a zoo visitor.
Sero will be accompanied by a female zebra next year, living together in the zoo.
