SEOUL, Nov. 20 (Korea Bizwire) – Singer Rain and actress Kim Tae-hee on Friday denied rumors they are marrying in December.
A local magazine reported earlier Friday the couple will tie the knot on Christmas Eve in a private ceremony.
“How do they know about a wedding they themselves don’t know about,” R.A.I.N. Company said in response, adding Rain will be in China then for a concert in Shanghai on Dec. 25.
Kim’s agency also said the rumors are “absolutely not true.”
“We don’t understand where this gossip comes from,” Lua Entertainment said.
The couple met on a TV commercial set in 2011 and started dating in fall of 2012. Their relationship, however, wasn’t revealed until January 2013.
There have been several rumors of their wedding this year, but each time they were rejected by the two sides.
Rain is currently on an Asia tour and is scheduled to return to Seoul for concerts from Dec. 11-13. Kim is on a hiatus after finishing her drama “Yong-pal” on the terrestrial network SBS.’
