SEOUL, Dec. 30 (Korea Bizwire) – “Inside Men” has become the second-most-watched R-rated movie of all time in South Korea, its distributor said Wednesday.
The film directed by Woo Min-ho has been watched by more than 7 million people as of Wednesday morning, 42 days after its release, Showbox said.
The figure is second only to 8.1 million people who watched the 2001 domestic movie “Friend” in theaters.
Starring Lee Byung-hun, Cho Seung-woo and Baek Yun-shik, “Inside Men” portrays the complicated relationships between politicians, the press, the wealthy, law enforcement authorities and organized criminals in South Korea.
The director’s cut of the movie opens in theaters on Thursday.’
