INCHEON, Sept. 29 (Korea Bizwire) – Jeju Air Co., South Korea’s leading budget carrier, on Friday began service on the Incheon-Vladivostok route as the number of passengers on it is rapidly rising, Incheon airport authorities said.
Jeju Air became the first South Korean low-cost carrier to open the route.
The airline provides the service four times a week with a 189-seat plane, according to the authorities.
The number of passengers on the route soared more than 30 percent to 200,000 during the first eight months of this year from a year ago.
