A Fun Game to Encourage Nut-Consumption among Children

press-release-notification

Barcelona, Jan 15, 2015 (Korea Bizwire) – Nuts and dried fruits consumption has been associated with a reduced risk of major chronic diseases, including cardiovascular disease, and the International Nut & Dried Fruit Council aims to make such benefits known through its new application INC Cartoons.

In just one minute, the superheroes from INC Cartoons will fight the enemies to win the battle over the baddies. Nuts and dried fruits have the nutrients and essencial properties to fight cardiac illnesses, bone fragility or slow intestinal transit. This makes them a vital daily food both for adults and children. Through the instructive video, children can learn the main benefits of nuts and dried fruits and also compete to win a year’s worth of products.

With this initiative, the International Nut and Dried Fruit Council has two goals; the first is to raise awareness about the importance of including nuts and dried fruits for a healthy and balanced diet. The second is to amuse children with a fun quiz that they’ll be able to access through the INC Facebook page.

It's a fun quiz with questions that can be answered after watching the video INC Cartoons, where nuts and dried fruits become superheroes capable of fighting all kinds of evil. (image courtesy of Pixabay)
