SEOUL, Jan. 20 (Korea Bizwire) — The top New Year’s resolution among soldiers currently serving was earning ‘vocational qualifications’.
The Defense Media Agency conducted a survey of 744 service members, 44.7 percent of whom expressed interest in vocational study.
Service members were interested in acquiring national qualification certificates for languages as well as other vocational qualifications for senior sports instructors, international trade specialists, realtors, forklift driver and so on.
This indicates the strong will among service members for personal development, the agency explained.
Other New Year’s resolutions included exercise (36.6 percent) and losing weight (7.4 percent).
A number of service members were interested in creating personal ‘body profiles’ to photograph themselves with a fit body.
