SEOUL, Dec.15 (Korea Bizwire) – Actor Ahn Jae-wook will be returning to the screen after a four-year absence. He will be starring in the new KBS 2TV weekend drama ‘Five Children’.
‘Five Children’, which will air in February 2016, is a comical family drama, illustrating the happenings that occur when a single dad and single mom meet their second love.
Ahn will play the part of Lee Sang-tae, a character raising two children after his wife passed away.
This is his first drama appearance in four years since ‘Light and Shadows’, which was aired in 2012.
Ahn commented that the script was very interesting. “The drama will make the viewers think about family and children. Also, many can relate to the story. I will try my best to act out the character so that the bright and happy energy of the drama could be felt by the viewers.”
The script of ‘Five Children’ is written by writer Jung Hyun-jung, who previously wrote ‘Discovery of Relationships’, the ‘I need Romance’ series and ‘It’s my first time’.
