SEOUL, Jan. 14 (Korea Bizwire) — Audi Korea has announced its most ambitious product launch schedule since entering the Korean market in 2004, with plans to introduce 16 new models this year alongside an expansion of its sales and service network to better meet customer needs.
The announcement came during the company’s New Year media roundtable at the Shilla Hotel. Highlighting last year’s achievements, Audi Korea noted the success of its electrification strategy, with the Q4 e-tron leading premium imported electric vehicle sales for six consecutive months.
The 2025 lineup will include new electric vehicles such as the Q6 e-tron and A6 e-tron, as well as internal combustion models including the new Audi A5 and Q5. The total of 16 new models, including both full model changes and facelifts, represents the largest number of launches since the brand’s Korean market entry in 2004. The company plans to follow up with 10 additional new models in 2026.
The aggressive product strategy comes after Audi, a top-three imported car brand in Korea through 2023, saw its sales drop below 10,000 units (9,304) last year for the first time in seven years, falling to seventh place. The decline was largely attributed to a lack of new models, which the company aims to address with this year’s extensive launch schedule.
The Q6 e-tron, an electric SUV, will be the first production model featuring Audi’s Premium Platform Electric (PPE), and has earned a 5-star rating in Euro NCAP safety tests. The A6 e-tron, an electric sedan continuing the A6 legacy, will also utilize the PPE platform.
The new Audi A5 and Q5 will be available in both conventional and plug-in hybrid variants, built on the newly developed Premium Platform Combustion (PPC). The A5 combines the best features of Audi’s A4 and A5 in a coupe-styled sedan, while the completely redesigned Q5 SUV features next-generation high-efficiency engines with significantly improved power output.
In addition to product launches, Audi Korea will expand its dealer network from 33 to 35 showrooms, converting large flagship stores to city mall formats for better accessibility. Service centers will increase from 32 to 37, with a focus on ensuring 30-minute access for customers in Seoul and the metropolitan area. The company is also considering introducing 24/7 unmanned service stations for routine maintenance and regular inspections.
Steve Cloete, president of Audi Korea, emphasized, “Korea is among Audi’s top 10 markets. We aim to make 2025 a year of innovation and resurgence, strengthening our bonds with Korean customers through diverse product offerings and enhanced services while solidifying Audi’s position in the premium imported car market.”
