SEOUL, July 13 (Korea Bizwire) — South Korean girl group BLACKPINK will hold K-pop’s first “in-game concert” on the mobile version of the mega-hit game “PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds” (PUBG), its management agency said Tuesday.
YG Entertainment revealed a poster titled BLACKPINK x PUBG Mobile 2022 In-game Concert : The Virtual on the quartet’s official social media account.
The event allows PUBG players to enter the event room during the concert period, in which they can enjoy BLACKPINK performances by 3D avatars.
The girl group plans to not only perform their greatest hits but also unveil a special track.
After the event, “PUBG Mobile” will introduce BLACKPINK stage costumes, voice packs and other related products for sale.
PUBG players in North America will be able to attend concerts on July 22, 23, 29 and 30. Players in other regions will be able to attend on July 23, 24, 30 and 31.
