SEOUL, Feb. 22 (Korea Bizwire) — A dance video by avatars imitating K-pop girl group BLACKPINK reached 100 million views on YouTube.
The dance cover of the four-member band’s 2020 hit single “Ice Cream” featuring Selena Gomez surpassed 100 million views last Saturday, just five months after it was revealed last September, according to YG Entertainment.
This is BLACKPINK’s 26th video to garner more than 100 million views.
The video was made in collaboration with the AR-based avatar app Zepeto, in which avatars of BLACKPINK members dance to their song.
BLACKPINK also hosted a virtual signing event where they met with fans to take photos and give away signatures on Zepeto, attracting more than 46 million fans from all around the world.
