SEOUL, May 25 (Korea Bizwire) — BMW unveiled the eighth generation of its flagship premium business sedan, the New 5 Series on May 24. The car is longer, wider, taller, and offers increased interior space compared to the previous generation.
The front design features modern interpretations of BMW’s signature double headlights and kidney grille. Advanced driving assistance and parking features come standard, including semi-autonomous driving functions and automatic parking with 3D Surround View.
The infotainment system, iDrive, introduces QuickSelect for easy access to functions and operates on the latest BMW Operating System 8.5. The New 5 Series offers a range of powertrains, including internal combustion engines, plug-in hybrids, and the first all-electric model in the series, the New i5.
The electric models deliver impressive performance and range. The New 5 Series and New i5 are set to launch globally in October.
