SEOUL, April 3 (Korea Bizwire)South Korean pop superstar BoA, who marks the 15th anniversary of her debut in the local market this year, will soon release a new album, her agency said Friday.

This will be her first album since “Only One,” which hit the local music market in July 2012, S.M. Entertainment said.

Her latest release was a single titled “Disturbance,” in July 2013 featuring Taemin, a member of South Korean boy band SHINee.

The new album will include “Who Are You” featuring Gaeko of the South Korean hip-hop duo Dynamic Duo, according to the agency.

The album’s release date has not been fixed yet but its main track is highly likely to be unveiled in late April or early May, according to music industry sources.

S.M. said it remains undecided on whether “Who Are You” will be the pre-released single or not.

Debuting in her second-year of middle school in 2000 with “ID: Peace B,” BoA gained fame for hit songs such as “No. 1,” “Atlantis Princess,” “My Name,” “Valenti” and “Hurricane Venus.”

After breaking into the Japanese market in 2001, she became a big-name star in Japan and one of the founders of the Asianwide boom of Korean pop culture, a phenomenon known as “hallyu.” In 2008, BoA debuted in the United States with the single “Eat You Up” and released her debut English-language album, the following year.
