DAEJEON, Aug. 25 (Korea Bizwire) — BTS’ dedicated fan base ARMY sent gifts to a hospital that took care of a toddler infected with COVID-19.
Fans of K-pop superstar from the southern resort island of Jeju sent gifts and snacks to Konyang University Hospital in the central city of Daejeon, enclosed with a letter of appreciation.
The medical staff including nurses at ward no. 33 quickly replaced a hospital bed with a mat and a blanket to prevent the 13-month old infant, struggling with the coronavirus, from falling off the bed.
The infant baby’s mother took the risk of infection to stay with the baby, and was constantly informed by the medical staff on the baby’s health status.
After more than 10 days of medical treatment, both the baby and the mother pulled through, and the baby fully recovered and was discharged on Aug. 6.
