BTS’ Jin to Drop 1st Solo Album Next Month

SEOUL, Oct. 15 (Korea Bizwire)Jin, a member of the K-pop supergroup BTS, will make a comeback next month with his first individual album, his agency said Tuesday.

The album, titled “Happy,” will hit music services around the world on Nov. 15 at 2 p.m., BigHit Music announced on K-pop fan community platform Weverse and the group’s official social media accounts.

“Happy” was introduced as an album carrying a message encouraging listeners to join the singer’s journey to find happiness.

The EP will consist of six tracks of various genres, based on a band sound.

The vocalist had been favorably reviewed for his first solo single, “The Astronaut,” released in 2022, as well as his solo tracks “Awake,” “Epiphany” and “Moon” from BTS albums.

Jin also unveiled a teasing video for the upcoming album on social media at 12 a.m. Tuesday.

Since his discharge from South Korean military service in June, the eldest BTS member has made several public appearances.

He participated in a torch relay for the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris the following month. Most recently, he appeared on “Run Seok-jin,” a variety show on BTS’ official YouTube channel, as well as an entertainment program on MBC, a major TV network in the country.

He was recently confirmed to join Netflix’s Korean original show, “Wild Kian’s Inn,” set to premiere next year.
