SEOUL, Sept. 11 (Korea Bizwire) — K-pop band BTS’ upcoming album will include a song co-produced with U.S. electronic duo The Chainsmokers, according to the former’s agency Monday.
BTS’ rappers and Andrew Taggart of the American group have worked together on the song “Best of Me,” an EDM genre track with a warm melody and energy, Big Hit Entertainment said. The song will be included in “Love Yourself: Her,” which comes out next Monday.
The two teams first met at the 2017 Billboard Music Awards at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas in May, where BTS won the Top Social Artist award. The American duo then posted a photo with BTS on its official Twitter page and said, “Love these dudes! See you guys this summer.”
The Chainsmokers achieved its breakthrough with their 2014 song “#Selfie” and stood at No. 1 on the Billboard Single chart for 12 weeks last year with “Closer.” The team will hold a concert in Busan later in the day and perform a show in Seoul on Tuesday.
