BUSAN, July 15 (Korea Bizwire) — The 2022 Busan International Motor Show has made a comeback after a four-year hiatus, showcasing vehicles from six major automakers and a variety of other South Korean brands.
The press-exclusive exhibition took place at BEXCO in the country’s largest port city on Thursday with Nexen Tire Corp. the only tiremaker to set up a booth.
The company introduced five major tire product lines including the N’Fera Supreme and the New N’Fera AU7, as well as tires specially designed for EVs, racing cars and future concept vehicles.
South Korean two-wheeler brand DNA Motors Co. unveiled project ED-1, an electric two-wheeler in joint development with Hyundai KEFICO Corp., a Hyundai Motor group’s affiliate which develops core parts for vehicles’ electronic control system, since 2018 aiming for a release next year.
Daedong Mobility Corp.’s electric golf carts and other electric mobility vehicles were also introduced at the exhibition.
This year’s motor show provides an opportunity for visitors to test drive a wide range of vehicles from two-wheelers to eccentric supercars.
