BUSAN, Jan. 16 (Korea Bizwire) – A “color of the year” cruise party will leave Busan for Tokyo on April 18 for a four-day voyage, the first such event to be held in South Korea.
The Busan Metropolitan Government and marketing firm Salt&Partners announced on January 16 that the trip, titled “CPP Cruise 2018 Busan”, will declare Asia’s official color for 2018 and hold a variety of fashion shows, musical performances, charity functions and more onboard.
In keeping with the event’s theme, all passengers must be dressed in the year’s colors.
Headlining names expected to attend are BTOB’s Yook Sung-jae, models from YG KPlus, the K-pop group B2B and musical actor Ryu Seung-joo.
Fashion designer and cruise organizer Katia Cho said regarding the April event, “Asia, with its different skin tone and culture compared to the West has a need to choose its own color trend, which is why with various South Korean artists we are going to announce this year’s color trend for Asia.”
This year’s color trend, to be announced officially on January 24, is “Busan Sea Blue”.
