SEOUL, May 18 (Korea Bizwire)Italian luxury label Gucci hosted its Cruise 2024 collection fashion show at Geunjeongjeon, the main hall of Gyeongbok Palace, in Seoul on Tuesday night.

Geunjeongjeon was used for kings to hold official functions or receive foreign envoys during the Joseon Dynasty (1392-1910).

Gucci’s first Cruise collection show in Asia was graced by the presence of singer-actress IU, actor Lee Jung-jae, Hanni from the girl group New Jeans, and over 550 other individuals from the entertainment and fashion industries.

Hollywood actresses Dakota Johnson and Saoirse Ronan also traveled to Seoul to partake in the enchanting evening at Gyeongbok Palace.

Although fashion shows have been held at Deoksu and Changdeok palaces in various forms, this marks the first time that a fashion show has been held at Gyeongbok Palace, specifically at Geunjeongjeon, which is designated as National Treasure No. 223.
