SEOUL, Dec. 18 (Korea Bizwire) — Changgyeong Palace in Seoul will be routinely available for night tours starting next year, the Cultural Heritage Administration (CHA) said Tuesday.
The decision is in line with people having more leisure time after the launch of the 52-hour maximum workweek, the state-run administration said.
The palace used to be available for night tours only for limited periods, but will open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. every day from Jan. 1, except for Mondays and public holidays.
The CHA said it plans to lend night tour participants a Korean traditional lantern and will prepare more diverse cultural events.
