NAMHAE, Aug. 17 (Korea Bizwire)After unveiling new cars such as The Next Spark, Impala and Trax Diesel from their Chevrolet brand, GM Korea has announced the launch of their ‘Drive Chevrolet’ program, which will make 2,000 Chevrolet cars available for test-drives starting next month.

Marc Comeau, the vice president of GM Korea’s Marketing and A/S division, commented that according to a survey, over half of the people who buy cars in Korea make their purchases without trying the vehicles first, while the majority of consumers in North America buy their cars after a test drive. “The purpose of the campaign is, of course, to promote Chevrolet’s products, but we hope to open a new chapter of car consumption culture in Korea as well.”

The campaign will start from September 1, and all models of Chevrolet including the recently launched products will be available.

The ‘Drive Chevrolet’ campaign is a program that allows the consumer to experience the strong suits of Chevrolet products, such as driving efficiency, body stiffness and running stability. Various types of test drives can be experienced, such as night and weekend test runs and weekend rentals. Also, there will be a giveaway to those who register for a test drive.

GM Korea plans to advertise the campaign through various channels such as TV, newspapers and SNS.
