By company, Samsung Electronics Co. and LG Electronics Co. took up 19.4 percent and 12.3 percent of the TV market in the third quarter, respectively.

The Chinese companies Hisense Co. and TCL Corp. accounted for 6.3 percent and 5.9 percent, respectively.’
