SEOUL, Sept. 23 (Korea Bizwire) – China-based IT firm LeEco kicked off a flagship store in South Korea to start sales of its products here, industry sources said Saturday.
LeEco, launched as video-streaming service provider in 2004, has been gradually expanding its business portfolio to cover automobiles and handsets.
Its mobile products are considered to be equipped with high-end features at a reasonable price by South Korean early adopters, although the Chinese firm has not yet released them here officially.
The company released the 5.5-inch LePro smartphone with a budget price last year.
LeEco Korea said it will start selling bicycles and other sports products at its flagship store, and gradually expand the scope to cover other areas.
An official from LeEco Korea said it plans to sell smartphones early next year.
