SEOUL, Aug. 21 (Korea Bizwire) – Chinese actress Tang Wei and Korean filmmaker Kim Tae-yong left for their honeymoon to the U.S. after their wedding in Hong Kong.
Korea Dispatch, an entertainment news media on the Internet, reported on August 19 that the newlyweds went to Los Angeles for their honeymoon. On July 12, earlier than the originally scheduled wedding in Hong Kong, the couple held a secret wedding in Sweden.
“Taking the first step as a married couple, we are ready to walk together, hand-in-hand with love and respect although we have mixed feelings of strong will as well as fear,” the couple said through Mr. Kim’s agency, Bom Film Productions. The agency also released their wedding photos to the public.
Champion Star, Ms. Tang’s agency, posted the couple’s wedding invitation card on Weibo, a Chinese microblogging website. “It is happy to let you know. Tang Wei and Kim Tae-yong tied the knot at their wedding ceremony in the presence of their parents and close friends. We wish them a happy married life,” said the agency.
The couple first met as an actress and a director in the movie, Late Autumn. And then they began dating last October when Tang visited Korea for her commercial shooting.
