Choi Si-won and the other cast members will visit China, Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan and Thailand on the movie’s Asian promotional tour from February 6 to 14.
SEOUL, Feb. 5 (Korea Bizwire) – Super Junior’s Choi Si-won is to promote his new movie Dragon Blade in Asia with co-stars Jackie Chan, Adrien Brody and John Cusack. Directed by Daniel Lee, Dragon Blade is one of the biggest budget Chinese movies of all time.
Choi Si-won and the other cast members will visit China, Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan and Thailand on the movie’s Asian promotional tour from February 6 to 14.
The movie is a period action story revolving around a Roman general Lucius, played by Cusack, who escapes into China with a Roman prince. Brody plays Tiberius, the antagonist, who chases after Lucius with 100,000 troops. Jackie Chan plays Huo An, an enslaved commander of the Han Dynasty who teams up with Lucius to fight against the massive military force. The film is expected to be an epic depiction of the clash between Roman and Chinese civilizations. Choi Si-Won plays a deputy of Jackie Chan’s Huo An.
Choi has become a popular name among Asian cinemagoers following his roles in Asian movies and TV dramas such as the 2006 film ‘Battle of Wits,’ the Hong Kong film ‘Helios,’ the Taiwanese drama ‘Skip Beat!’ and the Chinese drama ‘Fall In Love With You Again.’
