SEOUL, Jan. 03 (Korea Bizwire) – Yano Shiho, a Japanese model who has become popular as the mother of the adorable Choo Sarang along with her husband, Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) fighter Choo Sung-hoon (Yoshihiro Akiyama in Japanese), stole the show at a launch event in celebration of the ‘Secret Key collection’ and SK-II Skin DNA Counselling, a cosmetics brand, which was held at Lotte Department Store in Jung-gu, central Seoul on January 2.
The 38-year-old model is surging in popularity since she starred in the hit TV show ‘Superman Returns’ with her husband. In the program, her austere lifestyle and natural appearance won over many Korean fans, while her lovely child Choo Sarang (Sarang means ‘love’ in Korean) enjoyed explosive popularity among TV audiences.

The Japanese top model recently had a photo-shoot with Cosmopolitan Korea magazine, followed by shooting fashion pictorials with Instyle. Yano’s lovely family, including Choo Sung-hoon and Choo Sarang, was nominated for a KBS Entertainment Award – one of the top-tier awards in Korea’s show business industry last month.
