SEOUL, Mar. 4 (Korea Bizwire) — A park dedicated to animation characters will be opened this month at the Animation Museum in Chuncheon. The park will embrace animation figures including characters from the successful animation Goorumbbang, and a real size house which is a rendition of home the characters live in. Visitors will be able to walk into the house and re-live the feeling of watching Goorumbbang.
Another source of enjoyment at the park comes from a series of giant figures. One of them is an 8-meter-tall character, and has screens on its chest that displays messages sent by visitors through their phones.
The Animation Museum, the only museum in Korea dedicated to animation, has recently opened an additional gallery to exhibit background drawings used in the famous animation Oseam, directed by Sung Baek-Yeop.
