SEOUL, Aug. 4 (Korea Bizwire) – CJ Olive Young, a leading health and beauty retailer in South Korea, has introduced a free shuttle service for foreign tourists, the company announced on August 4.

The Olive Young Express operates three times daily from Incheon International Airport to the popular shopping district of Myeong-dong in Seoul.

The one-way shuttle departs from Terminal 1 of Incheon Airport at 9 a.m., 1:30 p.m., and 6 p.m., dropping passengers off in front of the Haewoon Center in Myeong-dong.

The service is exclusively available to foreign visitors who make reservations through Klook, a travel and leisure booking platform. Passengers can board by presenting a QR code received upon reservation.

As an added incentive, the company is offering passengers a complimentary K-beauty product each month, along with an Olive Young voucher redeemable for special offers at six Olive Young stores in Myeong-dong.

The shuttle service is scheduled to run for six months, ending on January 31 next year.

The initiative comes as CJ Olive Young reports a surge in foreign visitors to its stores. The company estimates that 7 out of 10 foreign tourists visited its outlets in the first half of this year.

According to the Korea Tourism Knowledge and Information System, 6 million foreign tourists entered South Korea for tourism in the first half of 2024. Of these, Olive Young claims 4 million visited its stores.

“We launched the Olive Young Express to provide foreign visitors with a convenient shopping experience and promote a positive perception of K-beauty,” a company representative stated. “We aim to establish ourselves as a mecca for introducing high-quality K-beauty brands to international customers.”
