SEOUL, March 4 (Korea Bizwire) — College students are raising funds to help overcome the coronavirus.
Students and alumni at Korea University have raised 12.2 million won (US$10,300) since last Friday, all of which will be sent to medical centers in virus-hit Daegu this Friday.
A different fundraiser organized by eight students from Korea University and Yonsei University raised 6.4 million won based on donations from 249 students and alumni.
Students and alumni at Sookmyung Women’s University raised over 60 million won since last Friday, all of which will be donated to the Community Chest of Korea Daegu Office.
