GS25 is set to release ‘soda-fragrance hoppang’ at the end of this month. Hoppang is a Korean term referring to a convenience food version of jjinppang (steamed buns).
The soda-fragrance hoppang will be filled with a blue-colored semi-transparent custard cream within a white bread.
7-Eleven teamed up with Lotte Confectionery Co.’s chewing gum brands Juicy Fresh and Spearmint and released Juicy Fresh craft beer in March and Spearmint craft beer in June.
The craft beers contain the original fragrance solution used when making the chewing gum.
