SEOUL, Korea, Nov 18 (Korea Bizwire) – Software company OpenVACS has launched a new international calling card “OTO Global Card,” following the same service on the Internet. The calling card, to be sold in 8,000 CU convenience stores across the country, allows the user to make phone calls to 245 countries worldwide. Available in denominations from 5,000 to 10,000, 20,000, and to 30,000 won, the card can be used after registration through its website (www.playoto.com) or customer service center (1600-3408).

Kim Sung-hoon, OpenVACS senior manager in charge of the OTO calling card business, said, “The card comes in handy for those families of international marriage and foreigners who don’t have a credit card. This is a great alternative to other calling plans as it is available in CU convenience store chains.”

With more than 3 million user base, OTO is expected to cement its position as the No. 1 company in international calling applications. To celebrate the launch of the OTO Global Card, the company will hold a special promotional event in which it provides 10 percent more credit for all buyers of the calling card by December 31.
