DAEJEON, Sept. 20 (Korea Bizwire) – Mackiss Company, an alcoholic beverage maker based in Daejeon, announced Monday that it will be hosting the second Daejeon Naked Body Marathon (semi-naked to be exact, with men running topless and women, sleeveless tops).
Taking place on January 1, 2017, at exactly 11:11:11 a.m., the event will mark the beginning of the new year. The race was first held on January 1 this year, and was met with positive response with some 1,200 participants.
“Many from all across the country participated and enjoyed the naked marathon as a sign of a New Year’s resolution,” said Mackiss Company Chairman Cho Wung-rae. “We expect the event to also help revitalize the local economy.”
