SEOUL, Sept. 2 (Korea Bizwire) — Galleria Department Store, operated by Hanwha Galleria Co., said Sunday it is offering customized services for companion animals in celebration of Chuseok at its Pet Boutique, a shop dedicated to pet products.
The boutique will craft hanbok, tradition Korean garments, based on the neck size, chest size, and length of one’s companion animal, for a price of roughly 200,000 won (US$164).
The department store said that it introduced custom-made hanbok from last year’s Chuseok holiday to pet owners who invest generously in their companion animals, and this year’s orders have increased by 60 percent from last year.
