SEOUL, Aug. 6 (Korea Bizwire) — High-end side dishes, normally available only at department stores, can now be delivered to your doorsteps thanks to a new subscription service.
Hyundai Department Store Co. announced Wednesday that it will begin offering the ‘Hyundai Food Weekly Delivery Service’ at its flagship store in Apgujeong-dong, Seoul and 10 other stores throughout Incheon and nearby Gyeonggi Province.
The new service works as a subscription program where subscribers can receive Korean side dishes normally sold at Hyundai Department Store once every week from home.
Subscribers can enjoy various side dishes, soup, and other dishes at discounts of 10 to 30 percent.
Each delivery package consists of between four and six side dishes, soups and other cuisines.
Hyundai Department Store explained that the service is targeting the growing number of single-person households and those with double breadwinners, driving the surge in side dish sales.
