SEOUL, Jan. 5 (Korea Bizwire) - A new drama series, titled “Descendants of the Sun,” will be aired in South Korea and China in February, featuring top Korean actors and actresses, a local broadcaster said Tuesday.
Featuring South Korean actor Song Joong-ki and actress Song Hye-kyo, the show will be based on a fictional country and revolve around the romantic relationship of a soldier and a doctor.
The series ended its production last month, with an investment of 12 billion won (US$10 million). It will be aired by the country’s top public broadcaster KBS.’
