SEOUL, Sept. 7 (Korea Bizwire) — As Typhoon Hinnamnor made its way out of South Korea on Tuesday morning, pictures of dump trucks parked in front of glass storefronts to protect them from the wind gusts are gaining media attention.
Online communities shared photos of several dump trucks parked in front of glass storefronts on Jeju Island.
Netizens believe that the trucks were deliberately parked there to protect the glass walls from the strong wind.
When Typhoon Lingling hit the country in 2019, some 30 dump trucks surrounded a greenhouse in the city of Siheung, Gyeonggi Province to protect the flowers there from being blown away by the wind.
