SEOUL, Sept. 8 (Korea Bizwire) — The Ministry of Education will provide a new opportunity for students to explore careers in new industries, including aerospace and artificial intelligence, from their classrooms.
The ministry said Wednesday it will host an online career class with experts representing various new industry sectors for four months from next week to Dec. 23.
The online career class will focus on the aerospace industry in September, the metaverse in October, AI and robots in November, and the environment and energy in December.
As many as 30 experts will give 240 special lectures, with experience-type activities such as AI service planning and metaverse creation being offered at the same time.
Students and teachers who want to participate in the online career classes can apply via the remote video career mentoring website.
The ministry has been running annual career class programs with experts from various sectors, including culture, the arts, and broadcasting since 2013.
