SEOUL, May 16 (Korea Bizwire) – The models were professional, and the show was full of passion and energy.

The Seoul Metropolitan Facilities Management Corporation hosted a fashion show called ‘Communicating with Seniors’ on the night of May 14 at Seoul’s Cheonggyecheon stream. The models, aged between 60 and 90 years old, walked the catwalk and showed off their youthful energy.

Some walked hand-in-hand with their grandchildren or alongside younger models.  They even danced to Psy’s Gangnam Style.

At the center of the spotlight was Yang-ja Park, a 90-year-old model and an unmistakable veteran who walked the stage for the ninth time this year. The crowd went wild as soon as she took the stage in her jade-green outfit. She posed and waved with all of the mannerisms of a professional.

“I was glad to see a lot more people in attendance this year to watch the show,” said Mrs. Park after the performance. When asked if she was nervous in any way, she replied, “No way, not at all. This is my ninth year. I didn’t make a single mistake. It was so much fun and I’m very happy.”

“I hope people realize after watching today’s show, that hard work and confidence never betray you – and of course, staying healthy helps,” she continued. “As long as my body allows, I’ll walk the stage and continue living a happy life.”
