YONGIN, June 2 (Korea Bizwire) — People are flocking to meet Fubao, the baby panda residing at Everland amusement park in Yongin, south of Seoul, upon learning that the panda will return to China next year.
The resort division of Samsung C&T, responsible for Everland, reported a 20 percent increase in daily visits to Panda World during the final week of May compared to the first week.
On a recent episode of the popular tvN variety show “You Quiz on the Block,” Kang Cheol-won, Fubao’s devoted zookeeper, revealed that Fubao will return to China next year as an adult to find a partner.
“The perception of happiness differs between humans and animals. I prioritize the well-being of the animals,” Kang said.
