SEOUL, Oct. 7 (Korea Bizwire) – The first Korea VR Festival (KVRF) kicked off Thursday for a four-day run at Seoul’s Nuritkum Square (Digital Media City).
The festival will center on exhibition and experience zones of the latest VR products and content from some 80 domestic and overseas companies, including Samsung, Sony, and Oculus, but will also feature business conferences, seminars, and award ceremonies.
President Park also visited the KVRF on Friday morning to meet with the officials of participating companies, and again emphasized the importance of the VR industry in creating new business opportunities, and bringing about innovation in various sectors including education, medicine, defense and tourism.
