JEJU, Nov. 8 (Korea Bizwire) — South Korean First lady Kim Jung-sook and U.S. first lady Melania Trump greeted a group of visiting schoolchildren on Tuesday, including family members of U.S. military and diplomatic personnel, after a stroll around the Blue House.

As a show of gratitude, the first ladies gave scarves to the children consisting of white, red, and blue, three colors that are found on both the South Korean and the American flag, while the children presented a painting of the U.S. president and his wife, to which Trump said, ‘Thank you,” many times.

The two were seen making the peace sign for photos after enjoying a rendition of a children’s song performed by the young guests.

After a photo op with the children, the two then headed to Sangchunjae, the official guesthouse at the Blue House where the first ladies spoke to each other while Presidents Moon Jae-in and Donald Trump held a summit.
