First Maskless Day Changes Public Landscape

SEOUL, Sept. 27 (Korea Bizwire)Monday was the first day without outdoor mask mandates in 17 months, and people at parks and tourist destinations were seen enjoying the autumn breeze without their masks on.

At the Everland theme park in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province, many people were seen without masks, lining up in front of rides, engaging in conversation as they chewed on snacks.

Chung-Ang University Elementary School hosted an autumn field day program. More than half of all elementary school participants were seen without masks as their use became voluntary.

Sookmyung Women’s University students were also seen maskless as they enjoyed the autumn festival, returning for the first time in three years.

Lotte Department Store, beginning its autumn sale, has put an emphasis on promoting color makeup in response to the relaxed mask mandates.
