SEOUL, Dec. 14 (Korea Bizwire) — Five-star hotels, which have typically eschewed pets due to problems like noise and cleaning difficulties, are now scrambling to accommodate them in an attempt to survive the pandemic era.
Lotte Hotel & Resorts introduced a ‘pet-cation’ package, available until late February of next year, accommodating both pets and their owners, allowing pets into the hotel for the very first time.
The hotel offers a ‘welcome pet’ gift bag that includes exclusive picnic bags, toys, and potty pads for pets.
The Millennium Hilton Seoul Hotel, which temporarily allowed pets last year, released a ‘Very Very Important Pet’ (VVIP) package for 50 guests, which sold out early this month.
Hotel Shilla Co. still does not accept pets but is offering related services.
For guests struggling with going on an end-of-year vacation because of their pets, the hotel is offering to send the pets to a pet hotel during their period of stay.
