Flocks of Sparrows Attract Tourists at Changwon’s Junam Reservoir

CHANGWON, Nov. 7 (Korea Bizwire)The Junam Reservoir in South Gyeongsang Province’s city of Changwon, one of South Korea’s major destinations for bird migration, is becoming a tourist attraction as flocks of sparrows are being seen flying in the hundreds.

Sparrows are commonly found across South Korea except for in high mountain ranges. Sparrows in the breeding season live in couples, but they group into flocks once the breeding season is over.
