SEOUL, Korea, Feb 27 (Korea Bizwire) –A Chinese smartphone manufacturer began selling a clone only one day after Samsung Electronics unveiled its brand-new smartphone model Galaxy S5. According to mobile phone information site Phone Arena on February 25, China’s mobile phone maker GooPhone has offered its “GooPhone S5″ through its website.
This is only one day after Samsung showed off the new Galaxy S5 at Samsung Mobile Unpack 2014 at the Barcelona International Convention Center, Spain, on the 25th.
The 5-inch GooPhone S5 comes equipped with a 19020*1080 pixel display, a 2-GHz MediaTek octa-core processor, 2-GB RAM, 32-GB ROM, with an available microSD card. The retail price is US$299.99. Earlier in November last year, GooPhone surprised the industry by launching a clone of Samsung’s Galaxy Note 3.
